If you have already installed SOHO Notes then follow these instructions:
1. Launch SOHO Notes.
2. Choose File > Back Up Database > To a File, and then save the backup to your Desktop.
3. Quit SOHO Notes.
4. Download the SOHO Notes installer.
5. Run the SOHO Notes installer and choose 'Uninstall' from the pop-up menu that shows 'Easy Install' by default. 6. Click Uninstall to uninstall SOHO Notes. WARNING: This will uninstall all the component parts of SOHO Notes. It will also delete any notes, contacts, and calendars in your current SOHO Notes database. Uninstalling also uninstalls the OpenBase database engine so all OpenBase databases will also be deleted which could affect other products that might be using OpenBase.
7. Download the StickyBrain 4.0.6 installer from the following URL:
http://www.chronosnet.com/Download/older_versions.html
8. Run the StickyBrain installer and install StickyBrain.
9. Launch StickyBrain. A new database will be created.
10. Choose File > Import Notes, and select "My default StickyBrain 2 file", and click OK. Your StickyBrain 2 notes will be imported.
11. Create a folder on your Desktop labeled "StickyBrain 2 Export".
12. Switch back to StickyBrain 4.0.6 and select the All Notes folder.
13. Choose File > Export Notes, select "Individual files" and enable "Export notes in sub folders", and click OK.
14. In the open dialog window navigate to the "StickyBrain 2 Export" folder you created in step 11.
15. Click the Export button. All of the notes will be exported.
16. Quit StickyBrain.
17. Run the SOHO Notes installer and install SOHO Notes.
18. Launch SOHO Notes.
19. Choose File > Restore Database > From a File, and select the backup database you created in step 2 and click Open. This will restore your original SOHO Notes database.
20. Select the "My Notes" folder.
21. Chose File > Import Notes, and select "A file or folder of files" and click OK.
22. Select the "StickyBrain 2 Export" folder on your Desktop and click Open.
This will import all of your StickyBrain 2 notes.
If you have NOT already installed SOHO Notes then follow these instructions:
1. Download the StickyBrain 4.0.6 installer from the following URL:
http://www.chronosnet.com/Download/older_versions.html
2. Run the StickyBrain installer and install StickyBrain.
3. Launch StickyBrain. A new database will be created.
4. Choose File > Import Notes, and select "My default StickyBrain 2 file", and click OK. Your StickyBrain 2 notes will be imported.
5. Create a folder on your Desktop labeled "StickyBrain 2 Export".
6. Switch back to StickyBrain 4.0.6 and select the All Notes folder.
7. Choose File > Export Notes, select "Individual files" and enable "Export notes in sub folders", and click OK.
8. In the open dialog window navigate to the "StickyBrain 2 Export" folder you created in step 5.
9. Click the Export button. All of the notes will be exported.
10. Quit StickyBrain.
11. Download and install SOHO Notes.
12. Launch SOHO Notes. A new database will be created
13. Select the "My Notes" folder.
14. Chose File > Import Notes, and select "A file or folder of files" and click OK.
15. Select the "StickyBrain 2 Export" folder on your Desktop and click Open.
This will import all of your StickyBrain 2 notes.
