StickyBrain can grab a web page from most browsers and save it as a new note in a particular folder or append it to an existing note. For more information on setting up a note or a folder to have grabbed information saved to see the chapter 'Shortcuts' in the StickyBrain Reference Manual.

To grab a web page do the following:

1. Select the content on the web page you wish to grab (choose Edit > Select All, to select everything on the web page).

2. Use one of the following methods to grab the selected content:

Contextual Menu: Control-click or right-click on the selected content to open the contextual menu and choose 'StickyBrain Grab To'. Then select the folder or note that you would like the selected content saved to.

Service Menu: Choose Application Name > Services > StickyBrain Grab To, and then select the folder or note that you would like the selected content saved to. Where Application Name is the name of the web browser you're using.

Hot Keys: Press the hot key combination that is setup on a particular folder or note to save the selected content to.

For more information on using each of these methods see the chapter 'Shortcuts' in the StickyBrain Reference Manual.

3. The grab selection sound will play letting you know the selected content is being grabbed.

Notes regarding the three methods of grabbing content:

Some web browsers will support all three methods for grabbing web pages, others may only support one method. For example, Safari supports all three methods whereas Firefox only supports hot keys. This is not a limitation of StickyBrain rather a limitation of the web browser. See this FAQ for more information on Firefox and other Mozilla based browsers.
